Privacy Policy

Fore Seasons Indoor Golf Tour ("the league", "we", "us") is a private recreational indoor-golf league run by Jacob Ferrell ("the host") out of a backyard simulator in Kaysville, Utah. This site (foreseasonsgolftour.com) is the league's roster and tee-time booking tool.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information the site collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Questions? Text Jacob at 801-661-3112.

Account info from Google sign-in: when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not request access to your contacts, calendar, files, or any other Google data.

Account info from magic-link sign-in: if you sign in by email instead, we collect your email address.

Profile info you provide: first name, last name, golf handicap, dominant hand (right/left), and an optional profile photo. You can replace the Google profile photo with one you upload.

League activity: your league membership status, tee-time bookings, the other players in your bookings, and any scores you submit or that are imported from Simulator Golf Tour (SGT).

Standard server logs: IP address, browser type, and the pages you load are recorded by our hosting provider for operational purposes (debugging, abuse prevention).

We do not collect payment information. League buy-ins are paid via Venmo directly between you and the host, outside this site.

Run the league: confirm your roster spot, show standings, send tee-time confirmations, and write tee-time events to the league's shared Google Calendar so other members can see what's booked.

Communicate with you: tee-time confirmations, occasional league announcements, and replies to questions you send. We do not send marketing emails.

Operate and improve the site: keep the site secure, fix bugs, and improve usability.

Other league members: your name, profile photo, handicap, and which tee times you've booked are visible to other approved members of your league. Your email address is only visible to the host and to other players in tee times you book together (so calendar invites can reach them).

Service providers we use to run the site:

• Supabase (database, authentication, file storage) — stores your account, profile, and bookings.

• Vercel (hosting) — serves the website.

• Google (OAuth sign-in and Google Calendar API) — handles "Continue with Google" sign-in and writes tee-time events to the league's shared calendar.

• Resend (transactional email) — sends tee-time confirmation emails with calendar (.ics) attachments to you and your group.

These providers process your information only on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service. We do not sell your information, ever.

Legal disclosures: we will share information if required by valid legal process, but the league is small and informal — this would be rare.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We use Google sign-in only to identify you (your email and name) and to display your Google profile picture if you don't upload one. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except service providers strictly necessary to provide the site (Supabase for storage, Vercel for hosting), and we do not use it for serving advertising. We do not let humans read this data except (a) with your explicit consent, (b) for security purposes (e.g. investigating abuse), or (c) to comply with applicable law.

The shared league Google Calendar is owned and operated by the league, not by you. Tee-time events we write to that calendar are visible to anyone the host has granted access to that calendar account.

We keep your account, profile, and booking history for as long as you remain in the league or any past league. If you'd like your account deleted, text Jacob at 801-661-3112 and we'll remove it within a reasonable time. Some records (e.g. past tee-time events on the shared calendar, historical scores) may persist as part of the league's archives in an anonymized form.

You can update your name, handicap, and profile photo at any time on the Account page.

You can stop receiving tee-time emails by leaving the league (text the host).

You can request deletion of your account, profile, and personal information by texting the host. We'll confirm before deleting.

You can revoke this site's access to your Google account at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions at any time. Doing so will end your ability to sign in with Google but won't delete your account on this site.

We use industry-standard practices: HTTPS everywhere, session tokens stored in httpOnly cookies, and access controls on the database. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute protection. If you suspect your account has been compromised, text the host immediately.

The league and this site are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through this site, contact the host so we can remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy. The current version is shown at the bottom of this page. Material changes will be communicated to active league members. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the updated policy.
